One of the most unique attractions in Cape Coral is the Cardboard Boat Regatta. This local tradition has been held every April since the 1990s. The rules are simple and competitors must get creative to win. There are a lot of great prizes for first and second place, including a brand-new boat. The competition attracts thousands of visitors every year.
