The Sydonie Mansion is a historic landmark in Mount Dora, Florida. It was built for Pittsburgh steel magnate James L. Laughlin in 1904. Architect Grosvenor Atterbury used quarter sawn, vertical grain two-1/2-inch pine for the floors throughout the estate home. It has thirteen fireplaces and three stories of halls. It is listed on the National Historic Registry. The Frogley family plans to restore the mansion and offer tours and weddings on the grounds.
